Your role will be varied and will include: reporting directly to Partner level, liaising directly with all clients and being the main point of contact, preparing statutory accounts from start to finish for Ltd companies (as well as preparing accounts for individuals), corporation tax returns and offering clients advise how to improve their business. You will also get the chance to work on other areas of accountancy such as VAT returns, management accounts and various reports, analysis and business management assignments. Your role will be varied and challenging, and training will be provided where necessary. You will work in a newly created role that will provide you with many growth opportunities in the future including the chance to be promoted to Manager level in a short space of time. No experience of the client base is necessary although a strong interest in working with Media, Entertainment, Sport, Creative, Music, Film & TV clients is essential as your clients will all be from these sectors. The firm also offers hybrid working and allows staff to work two days a week from home as well as offering flexible working hours.
To be considered for this new role (July 2023) you will be a qualified ACCA or ACA and currently working for a UK based practice firm with experience of the above duties, particularly preparing statutory accounts from start to finish. You will either be newly qualified or have some PQE. The firm would also consider a strong finalist with a few exams remaining. You will be working for a good quality practice and now looking to work in a more friendly firm with a better work life balance and faster progression as well as exposure to working with very high profile clients that are well known. Experience of a wide range of software packages would be an advantage but training will be provided if necessary.
