Are you an Accounts Semi Senior with at least 2 to 3 years experience in a good quality firm, looking to upgrade to a niche and friendly accountancy firm based in Central London (City location)? Are you keen to work in a firm with high levels of responsibility, work with an interesting client base which is mainly music, media, film & TV based, utilise your existing skills and work in a role where you will improve your statutory accounts, VAT, Tax and staff supervision experience? Based in small team and reporting to Manager / Partner level, your role will be varied and include preparing Statutory Accounts from start to finish for a wide range of clients, Corporation tax returns, VAT returns and reviewing the day to day bookkeeping which is prepared by 2 more junior staff. You will gain exposure to a wide range of clients from interesting sectors such as music, media, entertainment, film & TV. You will also use a range of software packages such as CCH, Xero, Sage One and Quickbooks Online. To be considered for this newly created role (May 2023) you will likely be an Accounts Semi Senior or Accounts Assistant and studying for the ACCA or be fully AAT qualified and looking to start the ACCA. You must have at least 2 to 3 years experience in a UK based accountancy practice firm. You must have experience of preparing statutory accounts from start to finish, corporation tax returns, VAT returns, and it would be an advantage if you had experience of reviewing bookkeeping work prepared by junior staff. Ideally you will have experience of software packages including CCH, Xero and Sage but training can be provided.
