Are you an Accounts Senior / General Practice Senior with experience of statutory accounts preparation, tax returns, Vat returns and bookkeeping assignments, who also has strong experience using Xero, looking to work in a role 99% home working / remote based where you can work from home for the majority of the time, but will be required to go into the office on a pre agreed basis once a month? Are you keen to carry out a mixed general practice role which will include: reporting directly to the owners of the business, having a hands on role (with no client contact – all client contact is carried out by the Partners), preparing the full range of bookkeeping tasks and VAT returns for clients, ad hoc management accounts (if you have experience) and reviewing statutory accounts and tax returns which are prepared overseas to ensure complete accuracy. Your role will be varied and challenging, and there will be many exciting growth opportunities in the future. It will be split roughly 70% bookkeeping and Vat, and 30% reviewing statutory accounts and tax returns. There will also be an element of staff management and improving the efficiency of a small team. The firm uses modern cloud based software including Xero and Dext and you MUST have experience of using these software packages. The firm would also consider someone looking to work part time 4 days a week but their preference is full time.

To be considered for this newly created home working based role (November 2023) you must be an experienced Accounts Senior / General Practice Senior and looking for a home working / remote based role, where you will be required to go into the firms office (based along the South Coast) on a pre agreed basis once a month. You MUST be fully AAT qualified or fully ACCA / ACA qualified (ie you MUST have a professional accountancy qualification). You also MUST have experience using Xero. You will currently be working for a good quality UK based accountancy firm with experience of the above duties, namely the preparation of statutory accounts and tax returns, VAT returns and bookkeeping. Experience of reviewing statutory accounts would also be desirable. You must have an interest in working with high net worth individuals and businesses based in the Fashion, Media, Film, TV and Fine Art sectors.
