Are you a fully ACA / ACCA qualified Outsourcing & VAT Manger or Senior Manager from a good quality accountancy firm, looking to upgrade to a very good quality, traditional medium size London based accountancy firm and carry out a varied role consisting of management accounts, VAT returns and supervising and reviewing bookkeeping assignments?  Are you keen to work in a very good quality firm with excellent progression on offer? Based in a newly created and varied new position in a firm of around 50 staff, you will be responsible for managing your own portfolio of clients which will be from a wide variety of sectors and service these clients to a high standard. You will prepare and review: management accounts, Vat returns and bookkeeping assignments. You will also be responsible for staff supervision, reviewing work and staff training. You will deal with client queries, technical research, HMRC queries also get involved with ad hoc projects and advisory work. Your role will be varied, challenging and hugely enjoyable with great progression on offer. In this new role, you will gain exposure to a wide range of UK and international clients, including groups, from sectors including property, legal, technology, renewable energy, professional practices, retail, media and other interesting sectors. This firm has had great success with people who have trained outside of London and want to relocate to a Central London firm for the exposure and opportunities on offer. The firm also offer hybrid working and is happy to let someone work from home up to 3 times a week. They are also happy to consider if someone wants to work part time, 4 days a week.

To be considered for this new role (November 2023) you must have at least three years PQE and be fully ACA or ACCA qualified, currently operating either at Manager or Senior Manager level in a role bias towards management accounts, Vat returns and bookkeeping. You must be from an outsourcing / management accounts and VAT background with experience of a wide range of software packages, including Caseware and other cloud based software such as Xero. You must be well presented, be a team player, and be looking to progress at a rapid pace.
