If so this large firm with over 120 staff and a growing and very successful Audit and Accounts department is looking to expand and recruit an ambitious new Audit Manager / Audit & Accounts Manager / Audit Assistant Manager, to join the team due to many impressive new business wins from larger competitors. Reporting directly to Partner level, your role will be varied and include managing your own portfolio of high profile clients, managing and reviewing all audit and accounts assignments, liaising with clients, managing workflow, staff training and performance reviews, assisting with new business development, and exposure to advisory projects. Your client portfolio can be tailored to accommodate your overall interests and areas of expertise and the amount of audit that you undertake can also be varied – its likely the role will be between 50% and 75% audit with the rest of your time spent on accounts and advisory projects. The firm also offer flexible working / hybrid working for all staff and you will be expected to work 3 days in the office, with 2 days home working a week.
To be considered for this new role (June 2023) you must be a qualified ACA / ACCA Audit & Accounts Manager or Audit Manager, either operating as a current Manager or be an experienced Senior or Assistant Manager and looking to step up to a higher level. You must have at least 2 years PQE. You must currently be working for a good quality accountancy firm in a role at least 40% – 50% audit based. You must also have experience of audit and accounts assignments, as well as managing your own portfolio of clients. Ideally you will have strong academics and a good pass rate in your ACA / ACCA. You must be professional, dedicated to your career and looking to upgrade to a very good quality Top 30 firm based in an easily accessible location in Zone 2 North London, where you will assume a varied, challenging yet highly rewarding managerial position.
