If so, this growing accountancy practice firm with under 10 staff and based in a prime location in Zone 1 Central London (City location) is looking to recruit either a qualified or QBE Accounts Senior / General Practice Senior due to impressive growth over the last few years and winning new clients. Your role will be varied and will include: managing your own portfolio of clients, preparing statutory accounts from start to finish for mainly Ltd companies under FRS 102, corporation tax returns, personal tax returns, VAT returns and offering clients advise how to improve their business. You will also get the chance to work on other areas of accountancy such as various reports, analysis and business management assignments. Your role will be hands on, varied and challenging, and training will be provided where necessary.
To be considered for this new role (August 2024) you will be either fully Qualified or a QBE, with at least 5 years experience working in a general practice role in a good quality UK based accountancy firm. You must have experience of the above duties, particularly preparing statutory accounts from start to finish and strong experience of FRS 102. You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be happy to work in a hands on role. You will either be working for a small or medium sized firm and looking for your next challenge or be working for a larger practice and looking to work in a more friendly firm with a better work life balance. Experience of a wide range of software packages would be an advantage but training will be provided if necessary. You must now be looking to upgrade to an entrepreneurial yet traditional firm where you can continue with your accountancy career, work on an interesting client base and learn new skills.
