Are you an Accounts Semi Senior with at least 2 years experience in an accountancy firm, looking to upgrade to a friendly good quality medium size accountancy firm that specialises in working with interesting Music, Media, Entertainment, Creative & TV Clients? Are you looking to join a firm in Central London (City location) that will provide you with full study support so you can gain a professional qualification (the ACCA)? Are you keen to work in a mixed role where you will prepare statutory accounts, tax returns, VAT returns, review the work of a junior and other interesting accountancy assignments? Are you keen to work in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere which is very supportive with full training provided? Based in a sociable firm with 20 staff in an easily accessible City location in Zone 1 Central London, you will gain exposure to high profile Music based clients as well as other clients from the Media, Entertainment and TV sectors. You will be responsible for working on a number of high profile clients, preparing statutory accounts, corporation tax and personal tax returns, VAT returns, assisting with the development of a more junior staff member and other duties as required. Full study support for the ACCA exams is offered after 3 months. Overall your role will be varied and challenging, and full training and support will be provided in order for you to carry out this role to a high level.
To be considered for this newly created role (June 2023) you must have at least 2 years experience in an accountancy firm with experience of the above duties, particularly the preparation of statutory accounts and tax returns. It is also likely you will be studying the ACCA or be AAT qualified and looking to start this. You must be professional, have good communication skills, be a team player and be able to follow instructions. You must be looking to work on a wide variety of good quality clients, take on responsibility at a rapid pace and be looking for promotion in the future.
