Are you a Statutory Accounts Manager or Accounts & Outsourcing Manager from a practice background, looking to join a very large Top 20 accountancy firm in an exciting newly created role? Based in the Business Services Division and reporting directly to Partner level, your role will include: managing a prestigious portfolio of clients (which will include around 30 financial services / FCA regulated clients), the preparation of full sets of statutory accounts under FRS 102, the preparation of cash flow statements, the preparation of accounts/financial statements for LLP’s, consolidated accounts, management accounts, Vat returns, assisting with the management of a small / medium size team, including reviewing work and conducting staff appraisals and any other ad hoc projects that arise. Most of your role will be review based but you will be expected to carry out some hands on work from time to time. Your role will be varied, interesting and rapid progression expected for high performers.

To be considered for this new role (August 2023) you must be fully ACA or ACCA qualified with at least 3 years post qualification experience. You must currently be working in a good quality accountancy firm and have experience of the above duties particularly the preparation of statutory accounts under FRS 102, cash flow statements and the preparation of accounts for LLP’s. It would be an advantage if you have used Caseware (although training can be provided) and experience of working with FCA regulated clients would also be a huge advantage. You must be a team player, have strong technical skills and have experience managing a portfolio of clients and a team.
