Are you a fully ACA / ACCA qualified Accounts & Outsourcing Manger or Senior Manager from an independent practice firm looking to upgrade to a very good quality, traditional medium size London based accountancy firm and carry out a varied role consisting of management accounts, statutory accounts VAT returns and supervising bookkeeping assignments?  Are you keen to work in a very good quality firm with excellent progression on offer? Based in a general practice role in a firm of around 50 staff, you will be responsible for managing your own portfolio of clients which will be from a wide variety of sectors and be in charge of servicing these clients to a high standard. You will prepare and review: management accounts, statutory accounts, Vat returns and bookkeeping assignments. You will also be responsible for staff supervision, reviewing work and training. You will deal with client queries, technical research, HMRC queries also get involved with ad hoc projects and advisory work. Your role will be varied, challenging and hugely enjoyable with great progression on offer. In this new role, you will gain exposure to a wide range of UK and international clients, including groups, from sectors including media and entertainment, property, legal, technology, renewable energy, professional practices, retail and other interesting sectors. This firm has had great success with people who have trained outside of London and want to relocate to a London firm for the exposure and opportunities on offer. The firm also offer hybrid working and is happy to let someone work from home 2 or 3 times a week.

To be considered for this new role (May 2023) you must have at least three years PQE and be fully ACA or ACCA qualified, currently operating either at Manager or Senior Manager level. You must be from an accounts based background and ideally have strong experience in management accounts, VAT returns and statutory accounts. Experience of a wide range of software packages, including Caseware would be an advantage as is a desire to work in a mixed general practice role although the role will have a bias towards management accounts and VAT returns. You must be well presented, be a team player, and be looking to progress at a rapid pace.
