Are you an AAT Qualified Audit Semi Senior or
Audit Junior and looking to start the ACA qualification? Or are you AAT
qualified and at the early stages of the ACA? Do you have at least 50% audit
experience in your current role and are looking to move to a Top 50 firm with
large clients similar to a Top 10 firm, but with a small firm feel and friendly
family atmosphere? Are you looking to work for a firm which will also offer you
flexible working arrangements as well as first rate training and support so you
can pass your ACA exams at first attempt? Are you keen to gain exposure to
sectors such as property, technology, large retailers, entertainment, mining,
energy, oil and gas and renewable energy as well as other interesting sectors?
Would you like to work for one of the leading independent practice firms in
London that is growing at a rapid pace and is winning lots of large clients from
larger accountancy firms, and so requires a new member of staff to help audit
these clients? In this new role you will be responsible for both audit testing
but being trained so you can start to led smaller audits yourself from planning
to completion. You will also carry out ad hoc assignments and advisory based projects.
Overall your role will be split roughly 90% audit & assurance and 10%
advisory and project based work. You will work exclusively on all the firms
largest and most prestigious clients, in which you will gain exposure to IFRS
and consolidations work. Your role will be varied, hugely enjoyable and you can
expect to progress to a higher level in a short space of time.
To be considered for this new role you must
be fully AAT qualified and either looking to start the ACA qualification or
have already passed no more than 6 ACA papers. You will currently be acting as
an Audit Semi Senior or Audit Junior / Trainee in a large or medium size firm
and be looking to move to a firm where you can continue to work with large
clients and get exposure to IFRS, but want to work in a more friendly firm with
a better work life balance. You will ideally have strong academics and a good
pass rate in your professional exams. You will currently be working for a good
quality UK based practice firm in a role at least 50% audit based. You will be
looking to join a mid tier practice firm where you can achieve a better work
life balance and better promotion prospects, but still work with large and
prestigious clients.
This mid tier practice based in a prime
location in London is growing at a rapid rate, particularly in gaining new,
larger clients from larger accountancy firms including Big 4 and Top 10 firm.
They are winning a large volume of new clients from many of their competitors
and can offer you the chance to work on and advise many interesting and large
international groups and listed businesses both in the UK and abroad, many
including mining and energy clients. Promotional prospects are very strong and
you will be given every opportunity to progress in a short space of time.
Overall this is an excellent opportunity for an AAT Qualified Audit Semi Senior
or Audit Junior to join a large and growing medium sized practice and carry out
a high profile and rewarding new position where you will work on a client base
to rival a Top 10 firm yet retain a work life balance in a friendly and
supportive firm.
