Are you an Accounts Semi Senior, Accounts Assistant or Trainee Accountant with at least two years experience in a good quality accountancy firm, looking to upgrade to a niche and friendly accountancy firm based in Central London (West End location) which specialises in working with interesting Film, TV, Creative and Media based clients? Are you keen to work in a firm with high levels of responsibility, work with an interesting client base and be trained so you can improve your overall accountancy skills? Based in a small team and managing your own portfolio of clients, your role will be varied and include the preparation of statutory accounts, tax returns, VAT returns, bookkeeping assignments (bank reconciliations, journal entries, sales and purchase ledger, making payments etc) and being trained on other areas of accountancy where necessary. You will gain exposure to a wide range of clients from interesting sectors such as Film & TV, Advertising, Media, Entertainment and Sport. You will also use a range of cloud based software packages such as Xero. To be considered for this newly created role due to growth (January 2024) you will likely be an Accounts Semi Senior, Accounts Assistant or Trainee Accountant with at least two years experience and studying for the AAT or ACA. Full training for either / both qualifications will be provided. You must have experience of at least VAT returns and bookkeeping, and it would be an advantage if you had experience of preparing statutory accounts and tax returns but training will be provided. Ideally you will have experience of cloud software packages including Xero. You must also be looking to work in a niche practice that mainly works with Film, TV, Creative and Media based clients.
