Are you an ACA or ACCA part qualified Audit Semi Senior with experience of, or a very strong interest in, specialising in Charity and Not For Profit clients? If so this large Top 20 firm with over 400 staff and a large and very well established Charity & NFP department is looking to expand and recruit an ambitious part qualified Audit Semi Senior due to many impressive new business wins from competitors. You must be dedicated to the Charity sector and looking to work with this firms impressive and growing list of Charity clients (including a mixture of small charities and many larger household names) which includes academies, schools, traditional charities, professional bodies, INGO’s, grant makers, student unions, trade unions, religious organisations, membership bodies and social housing associations. Depending on your experience, you will be responsible for mainly the testing phase of audits, but quickly be trained so you can lead audit assignments from planning to completion. You will also gain exposure to ad hoc assignments such as new business development, marketing and attending charity specific functions and events.  You will also prepare statutory accounts in accordance with SORP. Overall your role will be split roughly 90% audit and 10% accounts preparation. Your client base will be 100% Charity and NFP based. Your role will be varied, hugely enjoyable and you can expect to progress to a higher level in a short space of time.

To be considered for this new role (November 2023) you must be a part qualified ACA / ACCA Audit Semi Senior and either have an interest in, or already have experience auditing Charity and Not For Profit clients. You will currently be working for a good quality UK based practice firm, with experience of at least the testing stage of audits. Your current role must be at least 50% audit based and it is likely you will have at least 18 months experience in a good quality accountancy firm. The firm has had great success with candidates who have relocated to London from around the UK and this firm welcomes applications from small or medium firm candidates based outside of London.
