Are you a qualified ACCA or ACA Statutory Accounts Senior / Business Services Senior / Outsourcing Senior looking to upgrade to a large Top 20 international accountancy practice firm based in the heart of the City, where you will gain exposure to financial services clients? Based in a niche team which specialises in all the firms high profile FCA regulated businesses, you will gain exposure to a range of businesses including investment companies, hedge fund managers, investment advisors, brokers, corporate finance companies, private equity firms and many other financial services and FCA regulated companies. Your role will be varied, enjoyable and challenging. The role is hands on but also includes a large advisory element. You will be responsible for managing your own portfolio of clients, the production of both statutory and management accounts, as well as Vat returns, cash flows, financial forecasting and being trained so that you can prepare annual FCA returns for clients. You will also be responsible for ad hoc assignments and advisory projects and reports on a regular basis. The firm will also allow flexible working and will allow someone to work from home two days a week going forwards. .

To be considered for this new role (July 2021) it is likely you will be a qualified ACCA or ACA, either newly qualified or up to two years post qualification experience. It is likely you will be an Accounts Senior or Business Services Senior currently working in a good quality practice firm, looking to upgrade to a larger firm and learn how to work with financial services based clients in a more established team with better progression to managerial grade. Your current role must include the preparation of statutory accounts and management accounts, as well as the preparation and review of VAT returns. It would be an advantage if you had experience of a wide range of software packages including Xero, Sage and Quickbooks. It is also vital that you are well presented, well spoken and professional as this is a client facing position. You must also be able to work to tight deadlines. .
